Finally getting my watering setup figured out

I checked the soil this morning and it was way drier than I thought, so I’m glad I looked before watering everything the same way. I also got the 2-zone setup going, which makes it a lot easier to manage different parts of the yard without guessing all the time.

Suggestions for watering pots on a deck?

Greetings from Chicago in the dead of winter. All of my stuff is frozen outside, but I’m trying to get ready for spring! I currently have Rainpoint setup in my backyard to water the flowers and plants and it works great, especially the soil monitor! I have one for the front but I need to redo it as a squirrel ate through my soaker hose last year.

My oasis

Just joining the community and wanted to share a bit of my 1st year journey. My oasis is coming along nicely. Went a little ocd on everything. Built a greenhouse. Put lights on it. Love lights lol. Installed 6 raised beds no wait 8. I have canas, 2 dedicated pollinator and humming bird beds, 3 vegetable beds, one mushroom bed.
